Dr. Mohammed Hanif Khan Shastri
He was born in the year 21 September 1951, He is a noted Sanskrit scholar. He has done MA in Sanskrit, acharya in purana and was awarded Ph.D. on “Mahamantra gayatri aur surah fatiha ka arth prayog evam mahatmya ki drishtri se tulnatmak addhayan” in 1991. Dr. Khan, teaches at the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, a deemed university under the ministry of human resources development. He has been doing his bid to promote communal harmony by highlighting similarities between Hindu and Muslim religions through his literary contributions in Hindi and Sanskrit.
Dr. Mohammed Hanif khan Shastri received the national communal harmony awards in the individual category for the year 2009 at the hands of the vice-president of India Mohammad Hamid Ansari. His poetry collection in Hindi ‘Mohan Gita’ has 700 poems based on 700 Shlokas from the ancient Indian scripture. He has authored several books including
‘Geeta aur Quran mein samanyasya
‘Ved aur Quran se mahamantra’ and
‘Gayatri aur Surah Fatiha’

Ml. Mohammed Iqbal Mulla
Muhammad Iqbal Mulla was the zonal president of Jamaat-e-Islami hind Karnataka & Goa for three organisational terms. Currently he is the National secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami hind in New Delhi. He is a science graduate and has played a pivotal role in uniting religious leaders at the national level in social campaigns against female feticide, de-addiction and other social vices. He has played a decisive role in promoting inter-faith understanding and harmony. He has extensively travelled across India in his efforts to reach out to religious and social leaders to promote communal harmony.
