GIO Goa organised a programme on the topic “Virtuous Mothers recently at Islamic Centre Goa.
The programme started with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Qur’an followed by the inaugural address which was delivered by Miss. Ambrin Baig.
Miss. Shireen Khazi explicitly covered the topic ‘Muhammad (SAW) ki ek se zyaada biwiyaan kyun?’
The audience was briefed with the lives of each wife of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in the chronological order by our speakers which ended the 1st session.
The second session started with the narration of the life of the last righteous mother, after which a hadith discourse was delivered on the topic ‘Believer is a mirror to a believer’.
After the hadtih discourse life’s of the exemplary women of the recent past like Mohtarma Zainab al Gazali, Mohtarma Aapa Hameeda and Mohtarma Maryam Jameela were explained one by one by our sisters and highlighted their sacrifices, contributions for the cause of Islam.
Amir-e-Halqa Goa ,Jnb Abdul Waheed khan delivered the concluding address and stressed that the need of the hour is to focus on our lifes and not get distracted from the worldly distractions.
The session concluded with a brief dua.
