The Girls Islamic Organization ( GIO), Goa – Panjim Unit organized a program for college students at the Students Centre – Miramar on the 9th of February. The theme of the Program was “ Its My Life”.
The three hour program included a PPT presentation, video clips and Q & A session. The presentation discussed the pros and cons of Individualism in the lives of teenagers and college students. The presentation included video clips and statements by leading researchers in the field of brain development studies.
The consequences of extreme individualism leading to risky behavior in the lives of teenagers was the focal point of the presentation. The presentation cautioned the gathering of the impact of mass media on their lifestyle, attitude and perception of human relationships. The session concluded with consensus among the students that it’s a life gifted by Allah (swt) as a trust and needs to lived under his guidance .
The program was followed by Q& A session and Dua.
