Mission of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

On the 6th of February 2014 (6th Rabi ul Akhar 1435), Jamat –e- Islami Hind, Goa Women’s Wing of Mapusa unit organised a programme at the  Islamic Centre, Goa,on the life of Holy Prophet Muhammad(PBUH). The programme was attended by  ladies  from mapusa , Bastora and Thivim units as well as  GIO members.

This program was the concluding program of the series  of  weekend programs conducted   in the entire month Of Rabi ul Awwal exclusively on the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

 

The program commenced with Qur’an Tilaawat of Surah Ahzab (verses 41-47) by Mrs. Farida Banu Baig (JIH member) and was followed  by inaugural address by

Mrs.Shaheen Khan,(incharge Mapusa unit)  wherein she briefed the audience about the purpose of the programme. The Power point presentation on the Mission of Prophet Muhammad  by Mrs.Tamanna Sheikh (JIH worker) was  the main attraction of  the program.

The PowerPoint presentation began with the brief introduction of the pre – Islamic ignorance and how the coming of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) brought about a revolution in that entire system.

She also explained how Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) endured hardships throughout his life and through  his exemplary life and practical teachings he guided mankind  in all aspects of life including  women’srights, commerce and economy, law and justice, hygiene, ethics and etiquettes and knowledge which eventually helped to liberate people from all social evils and brought about peace.

The mission of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was not limited to a specific period but  was applicable to the succeeding generations as well.

She finally said that religion and life are not separate entities but go hand in hand, and the proven formula for our peace, success and salvation lies in following our Noble Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The session ended with a  dua.
