A picnic was held for Aashiyana children alongwith GIO girls on 10th of February at Campal Garden, Panaji. In all 26 children and 16 GIO girls came for the picnic. Three volunteers from Jamaat – e –Islami Womens Wing participated.
The bus left Vasco centre at 8.30am via Baina, Shantinagar, Dabolim to Panaji. It reached Panaji at 9.40 am . Children had brought their breakfast from home and on reaching the picnic spot all shared with each other their breakfast. After breakfast the little girls from Aashiyana had a good time playing. Before lunch everybody said Zohar Namaz. Special Chicken Biryani was served for lunch.. After lunch games were held and later the picnic party started back and reached home at 6.00pm.
