HUMANITARIAN RELIEF SOCIETY HELPS YOUNG BOY WITH MEDICAL AID

Master Faizan Ramazan Shaikh 16 years of age, residing at Harvalem –  Bicholim Taluka, was diagnosed as a case of Non-Metastatic Osteogenic Sarcoma left Ulna [Cancer]. He underwent surgery and the hand from above the elbow was amputed. Presently he is admitted in Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai to complete the one year course of treatment followed by ‘Chemu therapy’ and operation and also to have an artificial limb fixed. The cost of the limb itself is 2,83,320/-. The overall cost of hospital and medicine along with their stay in Mumbai is above 3,50,000/-

The boy has passed his metric exam with 75% marks and is studying in science stream. His father being a heart patient, the load of earning has been taken up by her mother who struggles through her tailoring.

Humanitarian Relief Society raised an amount of Rs 167570/- for his treatment .The cheque was handed over to his father by the chairman of the trust.
