Br Armaan Addressing the Gathering
An Inter faith dialogue was held at Miracles Church Sanguem on 2nd October 2014. The topic for the day was ‘I, we & you’ Representatives from three religion expressed their views on the topic.
Father Lyndon from Pilar represented the Christian religion.
Mr. Madhav Bhide from Ashram for spiritual health Raybandar, old goa represented the Hindu community. And brother Armaan Sheikh represented Islam.
The total attendance was around 300 people which included members from all the three communities . Few students from Union school Sanguem, Unity School Sanguem, Govt. Primary school Sanguem and Miracles school Sanguem had their presence. The program began with recitation of verses from the holy scriprures. It was follwed by skits and cultural songs by Pilar brothers and students from different schools respectively.
The three guest speakers enlightened the session with their konkani speech on the topic ‘ hav tu ani aami ekcharan samaj banduya’ . It was followed by vote of thanks at the end of the session by Mr. Damiyav councillor or Miracles church Sanguem.
