Humanitarian Relief Society, Goa in Association organised a 2 Day event at Gulmarg Baug,Verna recently.
The event was focused on providing guidance to students of 8th,9th & 10th on how to select a Career suitable to their abilities, interest & personality. Various tests on Aptitude, Interest & Personality were conducted in which around 80 students from across Goa particiapted on Day 1 of the event
A Special presentation was given on “Study Tips & Techniques” in the evening by Mr.Kazim Malik of Rehnumai Trust Mumbai followed by an interactive Q & A session
Evaluation & Analysis of the tests papers was done by the expert team of around 8 people from Rehnumai Trust using a specially designed software which provides patterns based on the answers given by the student enabling the counsellors to guide the student accordingly
On Day 2, students accompanied with parents attended a one to one counselling session based on the results of the tests for a deep insight into the students natural orientation towards a particular field
around 74 students were counselled individually through 6 counselling counters mentored by experienced counsellors.Most of the parents were satisfied with the event and the mode of guidance & counselling provided
Students & Parents have been given the provision of contacting the counsellors in future too for any further assistance & Guidance
Similar such workshops and events are been planned for the benefit of large number of students.
